Wilburman in IWA

The All Singing, Multi-talented Mean Champion of Justice

(Time travel ~~~~~~~~ back in time...)

(The time is a few days after the PPV Beach Blowout. The scene opens at the Mean Hotel, we are in the main function room where a big partner is underway. As it turned out, it was one of the chef's 50th Birthday Do. Everyone is having a laugh or two. Even the defeated Wilburman. He is dancing with Empress on the dance floor. Despite the days passed. His memory is still those of his shameful display at the PPV which cost his wife's IC belt. And even though they are dancing, one can't help but feel the tension going on.

The music stops, and everyone claps. Then Mike the hotel manager makes a toast to the chef...)

M: I have worked here for 4 years, and yet I am only the third longest serving member of staff in this great hotel. And today, we celebrate not only Galio's 50th, we also celebrate his longest serving run in the hotel, next to our boss!!

(They all share a laugh)

M: (Raising his glass) To Galio, you old old man!!

(They laugh more and chef Galio makes a wee speech also, but for the benefit of the non-relevance to this RP, we skip his touching speech. We go to after the speech and we see Mrs Galio and Empress chatting and stuff, you know, women stuff. And we also see Wilburman and Galio chatting away on a separate table.)

G: So why the sad face on my big day huh?

W: What? You couldn't guess?

G: (Laughs) Yeah, you really WERE crap that night!!

W: Thanks for the confidence booster...

G: So you lost, what's the big deal?

W: I lost, sure, in fact, I lost fair and square, but there are so many things that needs to be resolved, I mean, that Big Al and Mirage, I mean, what's up with those chair shots after the match?

G: True, but hey, you are the wrestler, no me, I just cook!

W: And you do it brilliantly.

G: Look, I am no idiot, it's your wife isn't it? Just talk it out, it'll make you feel that much better you know.

W: Yeah, I lost not only my match with Chamber, but I lost Carrie's belt too, that I can not forgive myself you know, I mean, I not only let the fans down, I also let my wife down... I mean, she tells me that she's forgiving me and it's ok and such, but I know, deep down, it's got to be eating her up alive.

G: Well go do something about it Romeo!

W: Oh yeah? Like what?

(Galio whispers into Wilburman's ears and they both laugh)

W: Oh wait, you are serious...

G: Absolutely... Pos--

W: Ok ok ok, I get the idea...

(Wilburman then approaches the stage and the crowd begins to make a general mumble sound as they see the Mean One talking to the on-stage band. One of the band members then hand him a guitar and he takes a stool and sits in the center of the stage platform.)

W: *Ahem*, hello? Hi, erm, I was just chatting to the old wise man Galio, and he's been kind enough to allow me to sing you a little song...

(Crowd cheers)

W: Heh, I am not so sure if you would still be cheering afterwards!

(The crowd laugh)

W: Ok, the song I am going to do is called "Please Forgive Me" by Bryan Adams, and I would like to dedicate it to my wife. I'm sorry Carrie, for everything...

(The music starts and Wilburman surprisingly gives a great performance of the song. But before you all laugh your heads off, we shall take a wee time travel here...)

(Time travel ~~~~~~~~~ Sorry for the no show at the weekend, but in the midst of holidays, my modem decided to take a holiday of its own too, a one way ticket to Broken-Down-Town, and the replacement one was supposed to be sent to me by Friday, but that never happened, and still hasn't. I had to drive 40 miles to get to uni to check my emails and stuff... Let's hope the replacement modem gets here soon!! So what did I do during my time away from online? Theme Hospital and Championship Manager 3... ahhh, the fun... :-) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ DING!! After the song...)

(Right after the song, the small crowd gives an ovation to the singing boss. Just then the Mean One puts the guitar to one side and makes his way through the crowd of people and approaches the Empress.)

W: Honey, I'm really really sorry, will you forgive me?

(Scene fades out.)
