End of an Era

(Scene opens in a GWA houseshow 24 hours after Coastal Carnage. The place is in electric mood after the greatest GWA PPV to date last night. Everyone is cheering and making some noise. Signs everywhere.

Fireworks galore and the GWA-tron shows some footage of last night's PPV. The exit of Justin Squared from GWA, the Hardcore Brawl, the firing of the lovely Layla Sanchez, Rick E winning the IC belt and embracing with Wilburman afterwards, and of course, Brad Britainnia's triumph over Psycho James. As soon as the footage stops, the screams in the arena get that bit louder as "You all ready?" is echoed throughout the arena followed by intro of Blaze of Glory. The announce team can be heard introducing the festivities.)

CD: WELCOME FANS!! To the fallout from Coastal Carnage!!

PA: Welcome everyone!! I am Paul Azura alongside Corey Danner, Roddy Green and the returning Jimmy La Rue!!

JR: And what a show we have tonight!!

RG: And da Mean One is gonna kick off da show!!

(As Blaze of Glory blares out the speaker, the Wilburman walks out to the cheers of the fans. He is not in his wrestling attire, he is in normal street clothes, black jeans, Wilburmania T-shirt, just plain normal clothing. He enters the ring and scales the second turnbuckle and salutes the fans. He raises his hand to calm the fans down and lifts the mic near his mouth.)

"Welcome to the Mean House of Justice!!"

(Insane crowd cheer)

"Well, if I may say so myself, last night was a hell of a night, and before I go any further, let me say this, Brad Britainnia... way ta go...

(More insane crowd pop)

"Now, I am here to say a few things, and to also make a special announcement..."

RG: The man wants his belt back!!

PA: Nah, my money's on him wanting a piece of the big one!!

JR: Nah, I say he is gonna tell us he is gay and he is madly in love with me...

CD: All in favor of castrating Jimmy?

PA & RG & CD: Aye!!

JR: I think I'll shut my mouth...

"Now last night, I was in a fantastic match with one Rick E Love, and credit is where credit dued, the man won!"

(Cheers)

"Dr. Debonair pinned the Mean One fair and square in the middle of that ring and I have no complaints about that, the kid deserved it... now, I hear some of you asking "What next for Wilburman?", well, as far as I am concerned, the GWA IC belt is in good hands and that is all that matters to me, I will not be asking for a rematch, I will just so simply move on..."

RG: HE WANTS BRAD!!!

"Now, as far as moving on is concerned, if you are thinking of the Mean One challenging Brad for his newly won world belt, well, you got yourself another guess coming!!"

RG: WHAT?!!

"See, before Coastal Carnage, I had a meeting with Prez Doyle..."

(Crowd boos)

"Boo him all you want, deep down, the guy is still Prez of GWA and aside from the tax fraud, he's doing a pretty good job... as I was saying, I had a meeting with Prez Doyle, and I had came to a decision, a decision that I had to take, you see, over the holiday period, the business of the Mean Hotel esculated to such a level that Mrs Wilburman no longer can handle it on her own, and I'll say this, the business doesn't look like slowing down either... (cheers)... so it is with regret that I make the following announcement..."

RG: HE'S SELLING THE MEAN HOTEL?!!

CD: Dispite the pay rise, Roddy still haven't got a clue where this leads to...

"I will be retiring from GWA..."

PA: Ouch...

JR: I was just starting to like him...

(The crowd boos in disagreement, some are in shock and don't know what to say. Wilburman continues)

"I didn't come to this decision overnight, I looked back at the few months I was here in the GWA, from when Prez Doyle invited me here, all the way up to last night, the GWA is really moving places, and I've had a blast whilst here and witnessing the GWA grow into the great fed it is today... I mean, I had a great time here, a short but undeniably great time, I was the GWA IC Champ, I took on all comers, I beat on every challenge and obsticale Prez Doyle threw at me, and heck, I even beat his BDM arse to become Prez of this place for 7 days..."

(Crowd cheers)

"And in Rick E Love, I see a great IC Champ, and I also see a future world champ in him, and believe me, the night when Rick E does that, I'll be in the front row watching and cheering him on like I was backstage last night at Brad's win..."

(Crowd cheers but some are still unhappy about Wilburman's decision)

"Don't you worry a thing now, Wilburman will always be about, I'll still be visiting you guys backstage, and when I have the time, I might get in line in the ticket booth and join you guys, the fans, my Mean Wilburmaniacs, in the arena and make some noise... (crowd makes some noise) ... This is not an easy decision to make, I'm... I'm... (tear drop in eye) I'm gonna miss this place, I'm... I'm gonna miss you guys... and should any of you guys want to visit o'Wilburman (getting red eyes), you just pop over to the Mean bar in the Mean Hotel! BUT!! But... but, somewhere down the line, if the needs for the Mean One to return is once again in question, just don't be shock to see some Mean Arse Kicking... (more insane crowd cheers)... but for now, I'll leave you with this, I am, and forever will be ABSOLUTELY...

Crowd: POSITIVELY!!

"GOBSMACKINGLY the Mean Champion of Justice!! Don't pull any crap that pisses people off, and basically, don't give me an excuse to come back, cause if I do, Justice hath no limits, for Justice is blind..."

(Wilburman takes a deep breath and sighs as the crowd are going berserk)

"GWA, for one more time, hit... my... music..."

(Blaze of Glory hits the speakers and Wilburman drops the mic as tears run down from his face. He salutes the fans on the top turnbuckle of the four ring corners. He leaves the ring but the fans won't stop the screaming. He heads back into the ring and a ring crew member throws a couple of Steve-weisers into the ring and Wilburman toasts to the fans. After the brief drinking session, Wilburman finally makes his way backstage where a hosts of wrestler wait to greet him, amongst them are Brad Britainnia, Rick E, Taylor, Comissioner Jim, Vice Prez Paul and Prez Doyle himself, they all shake hands and hug each other. As Wilburman goes to the parking lot to retrive his car, a stunningly beautiful red head can be seen beside the Mean One's Pegeout 306, the sexy babe just so happens to have the keys to the car as well and opens the car door. This sexy babe is Mrs Wilburman.)

"Hi handsome, can I give you a lift?"

"With my car? You better believe it..."

(As the Mean Couple drives off, we witness the end of an era as camera fades to black)
