The Wilburman GWA Diary (The Roleplays)

Wilburman was invited into GWA by the Big Doyle Man, a fellow WWCW wrestler. The Big Doyle Man had just opened his own fed along with the help of Brad Britainnia (also from WWCW), and he was hoping that Wilburman could join up and add another dimension to their roster. Initially Wilburman declined the offer due to him already in 2 feds and won't be able to concentrate fully. But eventually a compromise was made and Wilburman was part of the GWA roster. As it turned out, he only managed to stay for two months, but it sure was a fantastic 2 months!!

When he first joined, Wilburman had tricked the Big Doyle Man into thinking that he had joined his heel faction known as the Dominators, gaining the GWA Intercontinental Championship on his PPV debut. Only for Wilburman to turn the tables the same night to the cheers of the crowd.

Big Doyle Man tried to take the IC belt back from Wilburman by matching other fan favourites like Jeff Johnson and Justin Thyme, but they, just like any other, fell prey to the Justice.

Finally, the Big Doyle Man had enough and took it upon himself to retrieve the belt back, by booking himself into a title match with Wilburman at GWA's 3rd PPV, Summer Sacrifice. The stipulation was "Loser goes to jail for 7 days". Just when the Big Doyle Man thought he had everything all set, Wilburman upped the stakes and double dared Big Doyle Man into an "Owner for Owner" match, making the winner the new owner of his opponent's business. For Wilburman it was the Mean Hotel. For Big Doyle Man, it's the grand daddy of them all, the fed itself was on the line, Prezidency of GWA!! But then Jeff Johnson suggested a lumberjack match, which resulted in Big Doyle Man booking one of the greatest and most memorable match of all time.

The match itself was phenominal (but of course I would say that as I wrote the match!!). In one match, we had the combination of an Inferno match, a No DQ Hardcore match, and a Lumberjack match which involved the entire GWA roster! Not to mention the invasion of 2 of WWCW's most destructive factions, "The Pyro Maniacs" and "The Unholy Alliance". The match was full of action and at the end of the night, when all was said and done, the fans blew the roof off the arena as Wilburman sent the Big Doyle Man to jail and became the GWA Prezident for 7 days!!

Coinciding with the reopening of WWCW, Wilburman opted to retire from the GWA scene, and in his last match as IC Champ, he passed the torch on to Rick E Love, someone who Wilburman believes will be an awsome World Champ someday. The match was a brillant wrestling encounter, and the pace was fast from the word go! Rick E Love justified Wilburman's views on his excellence by being the first individual to break free from the Justice. But Wilburman also became the first to break free from Love's submission finisher Love Potion 911. In the end of the night, Rick E Love became the new GWA IC champ after a classic match by pinning Wilburman with a bridged pin.

Though defeated, Wilburman waa graceful enough to know he got beat, and presented the belt to the new champ. The following night, Wilburman shocked the GWA with the announcement of his retirement.

Although this was a short career, it sure was a memorable one.
